How do I cancel a bid on an auction?

A seller should only cancel bids placed in your auction under legitimate circumstances. Please remember that bids cannot be reinstated once they've been cancelled.

You can cancel bids placed in an auction if one or more of the following circumstances apply:

• You can not verify  the identity of a bidder after trying all reasonable means of contact
• A bidder contacts you to backout of a bid

You will need to provide an explanation for a cancelling a bid. Bid cancellation are publicized in the auction bid history.

1. Click on the "My Auction" link.

2. Click on "Cancel A Bid"  link on the Seller Tools section.

3. Fill in all the required information on the form.

4. Click "Cancel Bid" button.
